Want Us At Your Convention?

We love to attend cons pretty much anywhere less than 8 hours away (we’re in Conover, NC). If you’re thinking of asking us to be a guest, we typically request free badges and space in the dealer room (we’ll cover the hotel room and transportation in most cases), so we’re a cheap date. And here’s what we offer to the cons who host us:

  • Advertising. We post the convention links here and promote on Facebook. We also host a special session in the Back Room Chat Room the Thursday immediately following to provide constructive feedback to the convention staff, and promote the fun to those who are considering it for next year.
  • Savage Saturday Night. We host a Savage Saturday Night where GMs run a variety of genres using Savage Worlds. Beautiful Brains provides the GMs with pizza and sodas as thanks.
  • Games. Clint runs one game a day for the Savage Worlds fans. As Pinnacle Entertainment Group’s Savage Worlds Core Rules Brand Manager, he is in demand for Game Mastering. I run Savage Worlds demos at the booth as needed. Our eldest daughter Trinity, who has been published in RPGirl Zine 2010, runs at least one game of Faery’s Tale. Our youngest daughter, Bethany, runs at least one game of the Warriors Adventure Game (www.warriorcats.com). We typically bring a booth helper who also runs roleplaying games, not necessarily Savage Worlds (although it usually is).
  • Special Events. Just ask us, we’re game for almost anything. We’ve participated in podcast interviews, charity auctions, you name it.
  • Beautiful Brains’ Booth. We offer every Savage Worlds product in print, from the core company Pinnacle Entertainment Group, or from the many licensees. I also carry other RPG products that I find interesting, with an emphasis on family-friendly RPGs, and maps and dice for last-minute game supply. Look through the Shop to see what I bring. There are some items that I bring that are not available on the website (some things cannot be sold online).
  • Moderate Panels. Some topics we moderate on include Spoiler Alert for Savage Worlds, Getting Into the RPG Biz, World Building for Tabletop RPGs, and Getting Kids Into Gaming. Contact Jodi@beautifulbrainsbooksandgames.com for a complete list of panel titles and descriptions.
